Rhaphidophora Hayi (Shingle Vine) is a rare must have plant for any collector. A close relative to Monsteras and Philodendrons, this small tropical aroid is found growing on forest floors and climbing up vertical surfaces. Aerial roots hold the plant’s velvety, heart shaped leaves flat against wood planks (or trees in nature) keeping them shingle-like as they climb.
It thrives in a brightly lit room with no direct sun light and high humidity, so a terrarium, vivarium, glass cabinet or bathroom is an ideal location to keep this unique beauty.
