Actual product may not look exactly like the product pictures shown on the site. We make every effort to show an accurate representation of current stock available, however with Nature comes variation. If you are looking for something specific (examples: half-moon variegation or a specific leaf pattern shown), just send us an email.  We are happy to check to see if a particular style/pattern is still available. 



We strive to keep our inventory updated, however there may be occasional errors.   If an item is purchased and we find it is out of stock and unavailable for immediate shipment, we will notify you as soon as possible.  At that time, we may offer a substitution if one is available (alternative size,  color, etc..) or cancel your order.  You will not be charged if we cancel your order due to item availability.  Additionally, we can place you on our waitlist and notify you when the item is available again.

Replacements and Store Credits are issued at our discretion and may be refused by The Snobby Leaf at any time. Upon receipt of your order, please inspect it right away and contact us with pictures immediately if the plant(s) is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.   If you feel there is a problem, please contact us within 7 days of delivery so that we can process your request.  Unfortunately, we cannot accept requests after 7 days.

We are not responsible for losses caused by:

  • Extreme and unseasonable weather conditions.
  •  Neglect to appropriately water, feed, pot, prepare the soil, or site your plant.
  • Death or damage from hungry animals, insects, or pets
  • Inappropriate climate zone

Please note, a broken stem or leaf will not affect the health of the plant, but please don’t hesitate to contact us if you are concerned.

To start a case, you can fill out our Contact Us form.  We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your submission, and let you know if the request was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded in the form of a store credit. Please remember it can take some time for us to review your case and approve your refund. Refunds are issued in the form of Replacements or Store Credits only.  No cash value is refunded or given.

Where can we ship to?

We only ship within the continental United States. Unfortunately, we cannot ship to the following locations at this time: Alaska, Hawaii, California, Oregon, or Arizona. Why? These states require additional forms/steps in order to ship live plants into them. We meet all the requirements to ship to these states, but haven’t filled out/submitted the paperwork yet. We plan on adding these locations to our to our ship to locations soon!

When will your order ship?

Most orders will ship within 2 business days, provided the product ordered is in stock.  We try to work as quickly as possible, but there may be instances where it takes up to 5 business days for processing prior to shipment due to holidays, high demand, or extreme weather.

We usually do not ship on Saturday or Sunday unless prior arrangements are made.  If you have a special request, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate you.

When will your order arrive?

We cannot guarantee when an order will arrive. Consider any shipping or transit time offered to you by this site or other parties only as an estimate. We currently offer USPS Shipping methods.

What happens if something goes wrong with a shipment?

The Snobby Leaf is not responsible for any lost or stolen packages/items. All orders are sent via USPS or UPS (as a backup) with a tracking number, unless otherwise noted. After the package is picked up by the carrier, tracking is now the responsibility of the purchaser. Any and all shipping claims or issues are the responsibility of the buyer and the shipping service used. 

The Snobby Leaf is not responsible for late shipments OR damage due to external causes including weather conditions (extreme heat or cold, etc.), wrong address, delivery interruptions, or any failure of performance whether or not resulting from acts of God, theft, destruction and other causes.

Can Orders be cancelled?

Orders cannot be cancelled once it has been prepared for shipping.



This online store is powered by shopping cart software provided by trusted 3rd parties (such as but not limited to WooCommerce and Square). These or any providers utilized to process or provide the ecommerce solutions necessary to service our customers may at times experience outages due to maintenance activities or technical difficulties, preventing The Snobby Leaf from processing transactions. While we make every effort to provide the exact plant you order, sometimes a substitution may be required to assure your plant(s) are delivered on time.  If so, we are careful to make your order as close to your original choice as possible, even if this means substituting for plants of a greater value (example: a larger size). While our goal is to always keep you informed, we may ship a substitution without confirmation from you.  Your order shows acceptance of this policy.  Even if we have confirmed your order, due to the nature of dealing with agricultural products, there is always a possibility an order may not be filled. The Snobby Leaf will not be held liable for any inconveniences arising from such an event.



Our store will automatically charge and withhold the applicable sales tax for orders; however, taxes are estimated based on recent rates pulled from State & County sites.  Although we aspire to accurately assess the appropriate taxes for each state and county, we cannot guarantee accuracy.  You (the shopper) are solely responsible for any sales taxes and/or other taxes (use tax) that may apply.

If sales tax is not automatically calculated for your shipping location at the time of checkout, it may be because your state does not require The Snobby Leaf to remit sales tax or it could be that we are missing the tax information for your county (zip code).  If that is the case, your order will be placed in pending status until we can either ensure the appropriate taxes are added to our database (within 1-3 days) or cancel your order. We are unable to process orders for several states and/or counties due to the complexity of local tax laws.

Occasionally there may be information on this site or related to the services this site uses (example: logistics) that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions that may relate to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, offers, product shipping charges, transit times and availability. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions, and to change or update information or cancel orders at any time without prior notice.

In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price, The Snobby Leaf shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, The Snobby Leaf will issue a refund to your card in the amount of the incorrect price and any applicable taxes or fees charged.
